Rollei Superpan 200 is a medium-speed panchromatic black-and-white negative film based on the former Agfa Aviphot 200 black-and-white emulsion. It delivers the best results when used in high contrast situations.
Superpan exhibits a nominal sensitivity of ISO 200/24°. Despite the fact that it is recommended to expose the film at its box speed, Superpan can be pushed up to a maximum of ISO 400. The film can also be pulled one stop (ISO 125) and still deliver consistent results and controlled tonal values. Please note that pushing the film will increase its contrast substantially since Superpan has extended sensitivity near the infrared range, up to 750nm.
Superpan has a very fine grain structure similar to Ilford Delta and Kodak T-MAX. Its grain structure also contributes to a high overall sharpness.
