Write the first reviewOrwo Wolfen NP100 is a fine grain ISO 100, 36 exposure, black-and-white negative film. The film is still proudly produced in Bitterfeld-Wolfen on the original Orwo manufacturing site where film manufacturing has been a tradition since 1910.
Orwo Wolfen NP100 differs from Wolfen UN54 in the way that it has an additional dyed anti-halation layer. This layer is positioned between the base material and the emulsion layer and has the function of preventing the formation of reflection halo which improves image sharpness.
As NP100 is based on a motion picture film stock it is advised to develop the film in Kodak D96 which is brought to market in smaller bottles by Bellini.
