Negative Supply 8mm/Super 8 Film Advance Module (Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2)
Concerns only the Film Advance Module for use with the Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 and the Super 8 Film Scanning Cassette. The cassette is not included and sold separately.
The Film Advance Modules give your Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 additional capability to your scanning setup. These Film Advance Modules are the first modules designed for the Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 and pairs with the corresponding (optional) Film Scanning Cassettes.
Negative Supply kept capability expansion in mind when designing the latest generation of film carriers. The goal was to create an ecosystem designed to allow you to not only scan 35mm film with the Basic or Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 but odd formats as well. These types of film are still used and can be found in many archives in strips and rolls. Until now, users of our previous generation film carriers have not been able to advance their film with the advance knob because it’s been fixed in place. With the Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2, Negative Supply designed it to be modular to accept these modules.
The 8mm/Super 8 Advance Module replaces the standard 35mm advance module in your Pro Film Carrier 35 MK2 and allows you to quickly scan 8mm/Super 8 film in combination with the optional Super 8 Film Scanning Cassette. The Film Scanning Cassette is required in order to scan these alternative formats and has to be bought seperately. You cannot scan these alternative formats with just the Film Advance Module.
